Perhaps you may agree with me that it does not seem particularly appealing to speak of oneself as being unorthodox in view of the following list of synonyms for the word "unorthodox" that I picked from Roget's Thesaurus: heretical, unsound, unscriptural, uncanonical, apocryphal, unauthoritative, unauthentic, unaccepted, unreceived, unapproved, fallacious, erroneous, antinomian, Gnostic, pantheist, Pelagian, unchristian, idolatrous. ..... These are not the kinds of adjectives I would like to have attached to my name and certainly not ones that I would use to describe myself on a public Forum! --Hank |
