Bible Question:
Can you tell me the place in the Bible where it says that it is wrong to unite with other churches. Can we worship together as one church??? I don't think so as the uniting of all churches is talked about in the last days is it not?? |
Bible Answer: Greeting Vanaau Even with the divisions mentioned in the Scripture you used (1 Cor 11:18), Paul is referring to the One Church, the Body of Christ. He is speaking to the Church congregation in Corinth. If you read the entire chapter in context, he is admonishing behavior that caused riffs in that congregation. Some of which we still see in the modern Church. But if I am understanding you correctly, then the answer would be that he is not speaking of a one world church, in this verse. If I have misunderstood you I apologize. -khuck |
