Bible Question: Who was Christ in the verse: our Lord Jesus Christ or some church leader named so? |
Bible Answer: I think it is talking of Christ invented by a church leader. Many many people claim to worship Jesus Christ but when you talk to them and begin to peel back the onion skin (so to speak) you see that they worship a being of their own creation rather than Jesus Christ the living Son of God. In fact many worship a god of their creation rather than the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, the God of creation and the God that sent his only begotten Son to live and die for our salvation and to rise again to be living testimony of the greatness of God. For instance Mormons worship Jesus Christ. But their Jesus is the spirit brother of Satan. Both of which were born of Elohim a man that once lived a good life on another planet and died with his sealed wife. So he was given this planet earth to be the god of. Elohim and his wife then had spirit babies Jesus being the first and Satan the second and billions of others. The Elohim and his wife took the form of Adam and Eve and had children for all the spirit babies to inhabit here on earth. As you can see the Mormon Jesus Christ is not the Jesus Christ of Old and New Testament but rather an invention of man. That is the Christ I think this verse was talking of. |
