Bible Question: does god care more about humans than he does other animals |
Bible Answer: Greetings Grantathome21, Romans 8:20-21 "For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God." Verses such as Romans 8:20-21,22 and others help give support to the belief that all creation (that is, the other living things such as animals) is destined to be redeemed through the work of Christ. Beautiful passages of Scripture tell us about the lion and the lamb being at peace with one another in heaven. We know that God called all creation "good" (Genesis 1:24-25). Therefore, God's love for creation does not end with man, and He is also concerned with how we treat and use this earth and the plants and animals that He has given us dominion over (Genesis 9:2-3).
