What is your take on "if" in part b of this verse? Seems like a little word with huge ramifications. |
Bible Answer: Dear KCEvangelist, Well this is just a comment on your observation. I agree that the IF does have a huge significance. Often, as Christians, many tend to be so "submissive," so "timid," so "meek," in their way of thinking that they don't assert with boldness what is truly intended. IF we are his children (and many claim this to be true) then we ought to also realize the great privileges we have. However, in the kingdom and indeed, in the natural universe that God has created, privilege ALWAYS comes with equal responsibilities. (Luke 14:27-28) Remember, Jesus said to "count the cost."
