NASB | Romans 6:2 May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 6:2 Certainly not! How can we, the very ones who died to sin, continue to live in it any longer? |
Subject: What does dead to sin in Roman 6:2 mean |
Bible Note: Biblicalman Thank you for you answer I can really get a hold on this statement you made, "Physically nothing happens. It is all in the realm of the Spirit, and in how we view sin and life. But clearly as our being made spiritually one with Christ is a reality, His power is available for us to be able to carry it into genuine experience." I think you are correct nothing magically happens that makes us immune to sin, we still can but our love for Christ makes us resist. I think that is what you said. :-) Now what scripture do you think best shows this? Thank you for your help in this quest |
