Subject: is it possible to keep sinning and keep |
Bible Note: God will forgive you, but repentence not only means to be forgiven, but to turn away from. God knows your heart when you ask for forgiveness. Are you asking for forgiveness because you are truly sorry for the wrong you have done against God? God is able to break the stronghold the enemy has over you that is causing you to continue in sin. It starts with your motive and intent of the heart. Knowing you have a problem and confessing it to God, while believing He is able to deliver you is the way to be delivered. Praying, seeking God for truth in His word concerning your battle and trust in Him to guard you against diverse temptations and give you a way of escape are all ways that you are showing God that you hate the sin that is in your life and you need him to take it away. Otherwise you are just hoping or maybe you are not ready to get rid of it. |
