Bible Question: what does it mean to be saved? |
Bible Answer: "saved from the wrath of God" 'Jesus died on the cross to avert the wrath of God from sinners. Therefore, the only way to be "saved" from the wrath of God, is to trust in Christ. This is what it means to be saved. It means to be saved from God's wrath: "Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him, (Rom. 5:9).' ____________________ CARM NEWSLETTER, October 30, 2003 To view past newsletters, please go to www.carm.org/newsletters_2003.htm |
