NASB | Romans 3:5 But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? The God who inflicts wrath is not unrighteous, is He? (I am speaking in human terms.) |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 3:5 But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? God is not wrong to inflict His wrath [on us], is He? (I am speaking in purely human terms.) |
Bible Question: How can our unrightness be rightness in God's eyes when we are not obeying his wishes? |
Bible Answer: You ask: "How can our unrightness be rightness in God's eyes when we are not obeying his wishes?" I am confused here. Perhaps you can help me. In what translation of the Bible does it say that our unrighteousness is righteousness in God's eyes? I am unaware of any passage in the Bible that says anything remotely resembling what you are saying. |
