NASB | Romans 3:4 May it never be! Rather, let God be found true, though every man be found a liar, as it is written, "THAT YOU MAY BE JUSTIFIED IN YOUR WORDS, AND PREVAIL WHEN YOU ARE JUDGED." |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 3:4 Certainly not! Let God be found true [as He will be], though every person be found a liar, just as it is written [in Scripture], "THAT YOU MAY BE JUSTIFIED IN YOUR WORDS, AND PREVAIL WHEN YOU ARE JUDGED [by sinful men]." [Ps 51:4] |

Bible Note: Let's not forget those perenial favorites, Blotting Names From the Book of Life, and Where Did Elijah Go. Of course, if we think we are not honoring Lockman, let's not ignore those "over 5000 characture" posts - Oh! Multi-part posts conveniently side-step that! I tend to place greater importance on remaining in a spirit of true Christian charity, no matter the topic or thread length. (Mind you, I am NOT saying that you don't - I am simply affirming my focus)(Neither am I saying that I always succeed myself - I would like to!) I, for one, have learned things I did not previously know, discussing subjects sometimes in minute detail, with others who, even though disagreeing with me, have not belittled, insulted, or otherwise disrespected me. Is there a problem with that? It's certainly more than I am used to seeing in certain other arenas. I'll try to find a topic not already discussed in the well over 150,000 posts on this forum, but it may be kinda' tough. Love in Christ, Mark |
