Subject: Paul had no co-authors, only secretaries |
Bible Note: Blessings Hank! I agree with the substitution of the word 'secretary' for the word 'co-author' in the case of the relationship between the amanuensis and the actual writer, which was Paul. And I agree that it was Paul only who was inspired by the Holy Spirit, since it was he that gave the dictation instead of the stenographer.. In fact, the only place that Scripture actually states the use of an amanuensis is in Romans - Tertius (Rom. 16:22). I appreciate your usual well thought out posts with exceptional linguistic dictation! :) You have a gift for expressing yourself so clearly and exactly in the beauty of your words.. May I be your stenographer? :) Blessings! Nolan |
