AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 12:3 ¶ For by the grace [of God] given to me I say to everyone of you not to think more highly of himself [and of his importance and ability] than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has apportioned to each a degree of faith [and a purpose designed for service]. |
Bible Question: What does "as God hs allotted to each a measure of faith." mean? |
Bible Answer: It refers to the individual's faith to believe what God has already given him. The measure is given to every man and can only be used by that individual in his own belief to activate his own faith; no matter what, who or how much he is taught--he must believe. As a man thinketh so is he. The importance here is that the measure be used as apportioned. No matter what situation its used to bring about. |
