Bible Question (short): Romans 12:9-14 - love the evil? |
Question (full): Hi, I think I have a problem with understanding this ("Bless those who persecute you"). I figure it is meant that by loving the enemy we finally will prevail over him. However, in Romans 12:9, just five verses up, is written "hate what is evil". So what now? I mean, when you are persecuted by evil, should you hate it? Or love it? You probably can't hate and love the same thing, or can you? I'm a little confused on this. Thanks for your answers, Christian |
