Bible Question: How do you stop being lazy?...I know the bible talks about the consequences of being lazy, but what advice is offered? How do you work harder? |
Bible Answer: Dear Smiles, Slothfulness is a matter of focus on self. Deciding to be a dilligent person instead of a slothful one is a matter of self discipline. Self discipline is part of the fruit of the Spirit. Although slothfulness is a sin. It should be repented of and confessed. However, you may also have something in your life that you have refused to submit to the Lord. I would encourage you to deal with that thing, so that the Lord can work freely in your life. Remember, we do what we believe. Start your diligence by the study of the Word. Eliminate the lies in your mind and replace them with sound doctrine from Scripture. Your life will change.
