Bible Question: Concerning the Calvinist view of limited atonement, what is the need for evangelism among people if the elect are already chosen thereby guarenteed salvation? What roles do foreknowledge and predestination play in limited atonement, both according to a Calvinist and Arminian? Thank you!! |
Bible Answer: Because 1st. There is a need for someone to be sent, so 2nd. They can preach, so 3rd. The lost will hear, so 4th. They can believe, so 5th. They can call, so 6th. They we be saved. (vv 15-13) We do not know who is the elect, God does ... we need to be God's instruments, so thet can hear the call. Steve |
