AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 1:20 For ever since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through His workmanship [all His creation, the wonderful things that He has made], so that they [who fail to believe and trust in Him] are without excuse and without defense. Bible Question: proof from Scripture that one cannot be given a second chance to accept the Lord and be saved AFTER one dies |
Bible Answer: Hi DanielP, How about these 2 verses: "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse." (Rom. 1:20) "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Rom. 6:23) "And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment," (Heb. 9:27) Neither Christ nor any of the other writers of the NT give any reference to or support to a "second chance"! I hope this helps, BradK |
