Bible Question: Where does it say (if it does) in the Bible, That God will make himself know to every man. My girlfriend and I were talking and I said He is faithful to make himself known to all men. He will come to each man or woman before they die. That he gives each of us a change to know him. She said that is not true and I am pulling it out of context. If I am then shame on me but why do I think this to be true. God Bless you for your help, Pam |
Bible Answer: There is General Revelation which is given to all men that God exists; Romans 1:18-32 and man is responsible to know that God exists becuase the very creation is man's witness that God exists, so if you are an Aborigine you are responsible to God for believing in Him and worshipping Him even if you never hear the gospel. Only problem is man is so depraved that every tribe that has only received General Revelation go worshipping false gods as described in Romans 1. Then there is Special Revelation, the manifestations of God recorded through out the whole Bible and the scriptures which everybody else did receive, but which most will reject too. No one is exempt from having been given a revelation of God. So He has come to every man and woman before they die, they just deny that He is. |
