Bible Question: given that paul was a great teacher was he above christ |
Bible Answer: dear sir if you remember after the jeus death the holy spirit was poured out on every sort of flesh.....so really was it paul doing the teaching or was it....the holy spirit?Read..jesus words where he says i will send a helper and he will bring "all" things to rememberance(teach)to those possessed with the spirit.Paul was knocked down on the road to damascus...notice what jesus said."saul, saul why are you persecuting "me"...meaning saul(paul)was ill-treating,killing,persecuting those who had jesus in them!.......so your question is paul above jesus absolutely not..jesus was using Paul's temple(body)as a vessel so to preach the gospel....just like us all we are today are bodies(church, temple)that jesus uses to preach the gospel to all who have the spirit.Read john 20:21-22....the holy spirit is the teacher always...not the church or preacher or paul ! |
