Bible Question: I cannot find where God actually speaks to a person threw the scriptures saying he is Jesus. I want to find in the bible where God says he is Jesus. Big discussion at my apartment building. Thank you. |
Bible Answer: SunsetGypsy, There are a number of places where Jesus says He and the Father are one and when He was baptised the Father's Voice says "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased." Matt 3;16-17 But there is only one place that descibes anything close to what you are asking for and that is Acts 9:5 when Saul is knocked from his horse on the road to Damascus and hears a voice. He addresses the voice as "Lord", saying "Who are you Lord?' And he is answered; "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting." For the other passages alluded too above for the divinity of Jesus, see: John 1:1; 1:14-15;8:19; 8:58-59; 10:30-33; (Ex 3;14, 20:7; Lev 19:12,24;14-16; John 10:38;12:45; 14;8-12; 20:28; Col 2:9; Acts 20:28; Eph 1:7; 1 John 1:7; Titus 2:13 Emmaus |
