Bible Question (short): angel or Spirit? |
Question (full): Hi lialia 1212 and Searcher 56, I wanted to ask the forum if they capitalized the Spirit in Acts 8:39. Let me use your comments to show why I ask. Lialia says,"Why Lord caught away Philip?" And Searcher says "we do not know why God spirited Philip away." So my question is, "Is it the Lord or is it the angel who snatched Philip away?" Based on Acts 8:26 and 29, I believe that that the angel is involved. Thus, I would go more with the idea that God spirited him away. Other passages to consider would be the seven occurrances of Spirit (or,spirit) lifting up in the book of Ezekiel. Ezekiel 3:12, 14; 8:3; 11:1, 24, 24; 43:5. What do you think? From the heart, Ray |
