Bible Answer: These verses should be helpful........ Job 34:14-15 If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath; 15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust. Psalm 104:29-30 Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust. 30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth. Ecclesiastes 3:21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? James 2:26 6 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. Job 27:3 All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils; Job 33:4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
