Bible Question:
Acts 6:5 "The statement found approval with the whole congregation" ... while the word "vote" is not there ... "found approval" indicates the "whole congregation" did something. If it wasn't a vote, what was it? ... as with "choose" ... we do choose our elected officials as we "vote" |
Bible Answer: When we have certain spiritual gifts that God approves of and it shows to others, there is no need for a vote. The whole congregation approved of it. Where as in a vote you usually will not see 100 percent approval. |
