AMPLIFIED 2015 | Acts 26:14 "And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice in the Hebrew dialect (Jewish Aramaic) saying to me, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick [repeatedly] against the goads [offering pointless resistance].' |
Bible Question: acts 26:14-15 paul said Jesue was speaking in hebrew.does anyone think he said to paul i am JESUS? |
Bible Answer: No, it doesn't say He specified His name, but we know that Saul's mission was in persecuting the followers of "the Way", that is Jesus, so he was therefore persecuting Jesus. Jesus did not have to clarify to Saul who was speaking. |
