Bible Question (short): Was Drusilla Jewish or an Edomite |
Question (full): Acts 24:24 "But some days later Felix arrived with Drusilla, his wife who was a Jewess, and sent for Paul and heard him speak about faith in Christ Jesus." Drusilla is identified by Josephus as the youngest daughter of Herod Agrippa I, who was an Edomite. Paul says Drusilla was a Jewess. What am I missing? Did she merely practice the Jewish faith and was an Edomite,or is this a different Drusilla? Thank you for your help. Jim Estes |
