Bible Question: t does the Bible say about unmarried sex? |
Bible Answer: The Bible clearly teaches that sex outside of marriage is wrong. Numerous scriptures in the Bible condemn fornication. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8 says that we should abstain from fornication; that each one shoud get possessionn of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in covetous sexual appetite such as those nations have which do not know God. Ephesians 5:5 also says that no fornicator or adulterer or greedy person will inherit God's kingdom. 1 Corinthinians 6:9-11 also says that fornicators and a host of other practices will not inherit God's kingdom. However, if a person changes his way of life and brings it in accordance with God's high moral standards, a good relationship is possible with God and 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 says that, too. Hope this helps you. |
