Subject: Breaking of bread |
Bible Note: Once a week is tradition founded on only this one example. If, in a time of great need, a group of Christians partake the Lord's supper on, for argument's sake, a Wednesday, are they not still obeying Jesus command to take it in memory of Him? Having said that it is also true that this was a very early tradition (from other early church writings). I gladly partake once a week but object to it being legislated as the only authorized practice. |
