Bible Question: when did the holy spirit come to gods flock, was this given to gentiles at one time |
Bible Answer: God's day to you, gdad, and welcome to the SBF, Yes, there could have been Gentiles who received the Holy Spirit in Acts 2. In Acts 8:5-17 we read of the Samaritans receiving the Holy Spirit. They were half Jew half Gentile. The Ethiopian eunuch believed, we presume he received the Holy Spirit (Act 8:27-38), but he may have been a proselyte, since he went to Jerusalem to worship. For me Acts 10:44-48 is when the Holy Spirit came on the Gentiles, since it amazed the Jews and they knew of what happened at Pentecost and with the Samaritans and probably the Ethiopian eunuch.
