Bible Note: Acts 5:3- 4, does NOT prove the holy spirit to be God Almighty. In UNDERSTANDING Bible passages, one should ALLOW the passage to SAY what it is in fact saying, taking into consideration that there are NO CONTRADICTIONS in the Holy Writings. In what context should Acts 5:3-4 be SEEN. Well, when Jesus Christ who was filled with God's holy spirit, John 1:32-34, Isaiah 11:2, John 3:34.[NOTE please that God is a Spirit [John 4:24, Exodus 33:20, John 1:18] and is Holy [Re. 4:8] and has a NAME [Exodus 6:3, 3:15, Psalm 83:18] This NAME occurring nearly 7,000 times has been REPLACED by LORD or GOD in MOST translations. Jesus Christ, said ALL sins would be forgiven EXCEPT sinning AGAINST God's holy spirit.Mark 3:29 reads: However, whoever blasphemes against the holy spirit has no forgiveness forever, but is guilty of everlasting sin. CLEARLY, when we sin we SIN against God Almighty, when we SEE evidence of God's holy spirit or active force in operation, and we INTENTIONALLY SIN, or REFER to it as DEMONIC [blaspheme] we WILL NOT BE forgiven. Ananias and his wife, had abundant EVIDENCE that God's holy spirit was in operation with the apostles, YET, they foolishly tried to be DECEPTIVE,[quite unnecessarily so] and were punished as examples of HYPOCRITES and pawns of Satan. Hebrews 10:26 to 31, show that the deliberate practising of sin, after being convinced of the TRUTH, will result in adverse judgment |
