Bible Question:
revpete79, in post 172235 you said, 'The Baptism of the Holy Spirit which is seperate (Acts 19:2 He said to them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" And they said to him, "No, we have not even heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.") and means that you have been fully emersed in the Holy Spirit just as Baptized means that fully emersed in water.\' ... so I ask when were these "about 12 men" saved ... before or when Paul arrived/ spoke? |
Bible Answer: No one is saved until he endures to the end of his/her life or this world as we know it [Mat.24:13] remaining faithful and true to the teachings of Christ and by extension God Almighty [1 Corinthians 11:3, John 12:49,5:19, 30]. Baptism [anointing] in holy spirit are for those who will rule as kings and priests along with Jesus Christ [Revelation 20:6]. The first gentile to receive holy spirit was Cornelius and members of his household[Acts 2:1- 4, Acts 10:44- 45]. John the baptist was NOT anointed with holy spirit even though he had a measure of holy spirit as did Elijah, Elisha, Moses, Joshua etc. [Matthew 11:11]. To be BORN AGAIN means to die as a human and have a REBIRTH as a sprit creature [1 Corinthians 15:50]. This is ONLY for those to which Revelation 20:6 apply. The PARADISE promised is an EDENIC paradise on EARTH thus the MEEK WILL POSSES the EARTH. Matthew 5:5, Psalm 37:9. |
