Bible Answer: Hi Raffa... Welcome to the forum! The original Greek word here is "ethnos" -- where we get our English words like "ethnic." To the Jew this was a broad term (Hebrew "goyim") meaning all the other nations of the earth. Note, that it sometimes is used to include the Jews. (See post #178241.) In this particular passage in Acts, Peter is speaking broadly of the peoples who were not Jewish in their origin -- Samaritan, Greek, etc. See the full context in starting in Acts 15:1.
