We need to guard against either adding or subtracting from what is written. Scripture will interpret scripture. When Paul waited until after the days of Unleavened Bread to leave Philippi (Acts 20:6), we don’t need to speculate that it was “merely a familiar time indicator.” Christ does not merely fulfill the type of the Passover lamb, Paul clearly states that Christ IS our Passover, “therefore let us celebrate the feast. . . “ (1Cor 5:7-8) Holmes |
