Yes, we must be reasonable. You know, we (Chinese) almost eat anything. I remember when I was a little child, a close relative was very fond of eating dogs and cats which I felt horrible. He tried to reason his such behaviour with a Chinese saying "those with the back facing the sky are edible". I could not help to talk him back asking "Then do you eat people who are hunchbacked?" (that's what I could do at that age) - silence was the answer I received.
