AMPLIFIED 2015 | Acts 10:4 Cornelius was frightened and stared intently at him and said, "What is it, lord (sir)?" And the angel said to him, "Your prayers and gifts of charity have ascended as a memorial offering before God [an offering made in remembrance of His past blessings]. |

Bible Note: Hi, xmikx! Remember, however, that there are some Scriptures that mention that God not hearing some prayer. If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: (Psalms 66:18) 6Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them. (Jeremiah 11:11) Also when I cry and shout, he shutteth out my prayer. (Lamentations 3:8) Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but He will not hear them: He will even hide His face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings. (Micah 3:4) But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
