Bible Question:
Let's say it had been a Thursday when Cornelius said - "Four days ago I was fasting until this hour...". To what day of the week would he have been referring if he had said "One day ago I was fasting until this hour"? |
Bible Answer: Not sure what you are asking but if it was thrusday when Cornelius said one day ago I was fasting then it would have been on Wednesday that Conrnelius was fasting. If you are looking for chronology of this Starting with thrusday as day Cornelius is talking we see the events began on Monday verse 1-3. Then on Tuesday Peter had his vision verse 9 the servants came later than day verse 17 They then stayed over night verse 23. Then on Wednesday the began travel to Cornelius. the trip took 1 day so they arrived on Thrusday verse 24 and the rest of the events happened. Here Cornelius said 4 days ago (Monday) I was praying. |
