Bible Question: God spoke directly to Peter in ACTS 10, 11. Did God speak directly to anyone else in New Testament? |
Bible Answer: NO! Peter is out of concious, he fell into a trance. Input of Easton Bible Dictionary about Trance: (Gr. ekstasis, from which the word "ecstasy" is derived) denotes the state of one who is "out of himself." Such were the trances of Peter and Paul, Ac 10:10 At verse 10 before he would have eaten, he fell into a trance. Ac 10:10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, Ac 10:11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: I hope it would helps.
