Bible Question: Christ's exit from this world was dramatic and unexpected. In what manner will He return? |
Bible Answer: I don't think that Christ's exit from this world was that unexpected. He had been teaching all along that after He rose He would be seated at the Father's right hand. He also told us that He was going to heaven to prepare a place for us. I do think that His return will be unexpected since He has told us that He will return like a thief in the night and that no one knows the day or the hour. I am expecting something quite awesome in His return. First the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the heavens. We don't know what that sign will be. It could be as loud as the crash of thunder or as quiet as a sleeping baby. I can't find the exact scripture but the bible says that He will "split the eastern sky". It also tells us that the trumpets will sound and that He will arrive on the clouds. I expect that the light from His shikinah glory will be blinding! It should be a quite a dramatic and spectacular appearance! prayon |
