Bible Note: Ok so i've posted a similar question on a Hindu discussion board (not about the assention of christ but another supernatural event from their scripture) the answers were very similar to yours. "you can't prove it didn't happen so it did" , "There were witnesses who wrote it in the scriptures", and lots and lots of quotes from the 'vedas'. I could probably ask some mormons or some budists but i think the answers would be the same. The fact is that there is no magical world that we can't even comprehend. If something cannot be measured tangibly, as in it isn't made from matter, then it doesn't exist. It was only a couple of centuries ago when most humans believed in witches, elves, faries, dragons and all the rest. God is just the last of those mythical creatures to still have a following of believers, he will soon become just a fantasy creature like the rest. I think i've found my truth and i hope you all find yours. |
