Bible Question: i want to know how does GOd view a woman who has had sexual relations with a nother womans husband continiously for 8 yrs .i am now married but my husband thinks there are still consequences for my actions even though i am now a new creature in CHRIST. |
Bible Answer: John 8:10-11 (ESV) Jesus stood up and said to her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?" [11] She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more." 1 John 1:9 (ESV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Romans 8:1 (ESV) There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:33-34 (ESV) Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. [34] Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised— who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. John 3:17 (ESV) For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. John 5:24 (ESV) Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. |
