Bible Note: Hi NightJay0044: First of all I want to encourage you to keep looking the guidance of the Spirit, which is: John 16:13-KJV-Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. John 16:13-The Message-I still have many things to tell you, but you can't handle them now. But when the Friend comes, the Spirit of the Truth, he will take you by the hand and guide you into all the truth there is. He won't draw attention to himself, but will make sense out of what is about to happen and, indeed, out of all that I have done and said. He will honor me; he will take from me and deliver it to you. Everything the Father has is also mine. That is why I've said, 'He takes from me and delivers to you. Hebrews 13:9-KJV-Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with graceā¦ Philippians 2:13-KJV-For it is God, which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Secondly, I can't agree more with Brothers Hank and John, You couldn't have said it better! I would like to make a little extra point and add this portion of the scripture where it makes very clear that is not with our strength but with the Lords strength that we get everything and for that we have to give him ALL the Glory, and with this said I am not implying in any way that anyone had said other wise. 28All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar. 29At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon. 30The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? 31While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee. 32And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. 33The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws. Humble servant of Christ. God Bless you all! Jesus777 |
