Bible Question:
Once tasted the salvation, does it means forever being saved? Someone was a zealous Christian before who win many souls to Christ. Was this someone still being saved and entitle to the salvation if this someone mentally breakdown one day(Doing the damages/harms with the unsound mind to the surrounding) ? |
Bible Answer: Dear Corin, Everyone chosen of God will be saved and preserved forever. This is the Work of God. No one can do anything to make God think he is more worthy of salvation. We are all, every one of us, completely unworthy of salvation. Since it is entirely by grace that we are saved, all of our sins our covered by the blood. A person losing their mind and sinning, if they are saved, has their sins covered by grace -- although that is very hypothetical. A person who habitually sins is not a saved person (1 John 2:2-3).
