Bible Question: Thanks for your reply. You're right the point here is that Jesus fed a huge crowd in a miraculos way. However, I would still like to understand this verse better. Did Jesus feed men and women? One explanation is that there were only men there, but I don't think that fits in with the other accounts of the story. Can someone make sense of verse 10 and 11 for me. Thanks. |
Bible Answer: God's day to you, Diomede, Since vesrs 2 says "A large crowd" and not "A large crowd of men" we can presume that there were women and children. Most agree that there were women and children, too. But, I don't know why it sats the men were to sit ... mayve the women and children would follow ... I haven't studied the culture if the time. S |
