Bible Question: who is the bridegroom |
Bible Answer: Hi, Christian mother! John the Baptist introduces Christ as the Bridegroom (John 3:26-30); see also: Revelation 19:6-8 and 21:1-3... this metaphor is not new though... in the Old Testament we find Yahweh speaking of Israel as His bride, this would of course make Him the Bridegroom! Yet, since the Father and the Son are One (John 10:30), there is no contradiction in both the Father and the Son being the Bridegroom! God Bless! Angel |
