Subject: Must we be baptized to be saved? |
Bible Note: Baptism is symbolic only to the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It's a outward showing of an inward going. Baptism only says that you have put away the old man (old ways, old habits) and have come up a new creature in Christ. (outwardly that's what baptism represent). The thief on the Cross was never baptized and the Lord Jesus said this day you will be with me in paradise and I'm sure that is where he is to this day. So not being baptized will not keep you out of heaven. But if you are a follower of Christ wouln't want to do what He did? |
