AMPLIFIED 2015 | John 3:2 who came to Jesus at night and said to Him, "Rabbi (Teacher), we know [without any doubt] that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs [these wonders, these attesting miracles] that You do unless God is with him." |
Bible Question: What does it me obedience is better than sacracfice? |
Bible Answer: What that scripture means that when God gives you instructions he expects us to be obedient to Him. By sacrificing your time, money, anything other than what God said to do is null and void. Here is an example: The word of God says to pay your tithes and offering. In your mind you don't have enough money to make it through the week until next pay day. But you sacrifice you time by helping out in the ministry, you help others, and do what ever is asked of you. This is all good. But the word says to obey his word and pay your tithes and offerings. |
