Bible Question: If God knows what's going to happen in advance. He must have known that people were going to rebel and sin, so why does he get angry and strike out at his people? |
Bible Answer: Vicalan Why do you feel God strikes at out at His people? The facts are just the opposite, God warns His people that for each action there is a consequence. If we do something positive the consequence is positive, if we do something negative the consequence brings negative results. God loved His people so much He gave His son to die for our bad decisions. Now you may question, what gave God the right to do this? The answer is He created us. The Creator gets to make the rules, the created is given a choice follow them or not. The choice either way has consequences. God’s desire is we follow the rules and prosper but he allowed us room to rebel. Our decision is to love and trust God, to believe He does know what is best for us and do it His way. Or to say, “I don’t care if you are the Creator I know what is good for me more than you.” And then do it our way. EdB |
