Bible Question: If someone has never heard the gospel or been told about God and therefore did not believe, would they go to hell? And what is the scripture to back up your answer? |
Bible Answer: akeffer82: Thank you for your question. In John chapter 3 from verse 16 to the end of the Chapter it is very clear. God does not wish anyone to live eternity seperated from Him. However part of giving mankind the power to make choices on our own, and not on a basis of making us robots, free will has been given to all of us. If we so choose to reject Jesus Christ, God will not force His love on anyone. We are held accountable for either making Christ our Lord, or rejecting Gods love and salvation in Jesus Christ. So in a very direct way we do choose heaven or hell, don't we. I hope this is answering your question. If you want more dialogue I would be pleased to answer any questions or concerns.
