Bible Question: Once I accept Christ as my personal Savior am I always saved until He comes for me? |
Bible Answer: There are at least two verses of scriptures that has direct implications to your question. Romans 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. Simply put, there is no sin that a Christian can commit that will condemn them to Eternal Death. Christ has already paid the price for all our sins, past; present; and future. If by chance you might get the impression that as a beliver you can do as you will, I STRONGLY suggest that you read Romans chp. 6;7; and 8. The second verse that deals with your question would be John 3:16 and 18. v.16 "For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him SHOULD NOT PERISH but have EVERLASTING Life." V.18 "He that believeth on Him IS NOT CONDEMNED, but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the Only Begotten Son of God." These verses, as well as a number of others, taken in context, proves God's Love for you as well as your Eternal Salvation, and there is absolutely NOTHING in Heaven or Earth that can separate you from either. This biblical principle can be found through the entire reading of the 8th chp. of Romans. The CurtMan |
