Bible Question:
Was Jesus Christ the Son of God even in the begining. I agree that he was there from the very begining, (John 1:1). But isnt he called the Son of God only after he was born according to Luke 1:35 when the angel of God tells her, " so the Holy One born to you shall be called The Son of the Most High God" ? vkey |
Bible Answer: The triune God is eternal -- God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The Advent of Jesus Christ on earth -- the Incarnation when God became fully man yet remained fully God is a divine mystery which, like the Trinity, the finite mind cannot fully comprehend. The Triunity is transcendent and there exists no basis for comparison in all the universe. --Hank |
