Subject: Was Mary an apostle? |
Bible Note: Mommapbs, Moreover, I believe that using Mary in this way is a rather 'weak' way to give support to the fact that the Lord 'commissions' both men and women. Perhaps a much better example to use would be that of Aquila and Priscilla (Acts 18:2, 26; Rom. 16:3; 1 Cor. 16:19; 2 Tim. 4:19), which would lend more support that God calls and gives authority to both men and women.
