Bible Question: Is it any wonder that the world doesn't believe--with all the divisions between those calling themselves followers of Christ? |
Bible Answer: Greetings, seeking wisdom! One person can be completely and irrefutably right on everything in his own mind. When another person comes along, then you have a problem. If you can't convince the other person that you are right and they are wrong if they do not already agree with you, then you have what is called a 'difference of opinion.' It would be near impossible to get 5 different people (let alone 6,500) to think in absolute uniformity about everything! And Christians are not the least bit exempt from this example. However, the way that Christians ARE different is that we have a Book to help us. But we find ways to disagree with each other on that also! :-) Blessings to you, Makarios |
